Pupper spotted in Mexico 1.300 miles from home during Google Maps search leaves San Diego dog pawrent in shock as they stumble upon their adopted dog’s previous life, dog dad says: ‘It’s one of those things where you know your dog well, and I just knew.’

The one question us dog parents always ask, yet will usually never have an answer for, is what were our dog's lives like before we met them? Well, this pupper pawrent put on their thinking cap and managed to find an answer!

It is truly incredible what the hooman mind is capable of when it sets its sights on something. Be it landing on the moon, diving to the deepest depths, or as in this case discovering what your adopted doggo's life was like before you met. There is no limit to what the hooman mind is capable of achieving with enough dedication and determination. And it seems that for this pawrent a combination of sheer will and determination is what powered his multiday search for his dearly beloved doggo's backstory.

Well, at least now we have some concrete proof that going down the rabbit hole does not always have to be a bad thing. In fact sometimes it can afford you the opportunity to come back up with something quite worthwhile in your hands. After all, it is not every day that a pupper pawrent gets to have the age old question of their darling doggo’s origin story answered. And judging by these photos it was a hot, tough life in the sun for this sweet pupper before she was scooped up and brought stateside. How lucky she was to have been picked up so casually off the street in her Mexican hometown.
